Three Injured in State Route 164 Accident Near White River Amphitheatre

Two of the drivers involved are from Enumclaw and were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for their injuries.

Three drivers of three separate vehicles were injured following an accident on State Route 164 near S.E. 408th Street at 6:07 a.m. Tuesday, according to a State Patrol memo.

The first vehicle, a 2008 Chrysler Pacifica, was reportedly eastbound on State Route 164 when it crossed the center line, striking two other vehicles -- a 2002 Honda Civic and a 2006 Kia Spectra. The Civic continued off the embankment on the northside of the roadway while the other two vehicles came to rest in the westbound lane.

The female 22-year-old driver of the Pacifica, from Auburn, was taken to Auburn General Hospital. The male 67-year-old driver of the Civic and the female 47-year-old driver of the Spectra, both from Enumclaw, were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

All three drivers were wearing seat belts. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
