Dogs: Police received a report at 7:51 a.m. of two loose dogs behaving aggressively toward passers by on the 400 block of Blanchat Court. The responding officer contacted the dog owner who agreed to keep the dogs secured.
Police responded at 11:55 a.m. to the Southwood soccer fields for a report that there was a dog loose with a tight zip tie around its neck. The responding officer wasn't able to remove the tie before the dog took off.
Property Damage: Police received a report at 8:46 a.m. that tires on a car parked on the 200 block of Charwila Lane were slashed overnight.
Police received a report at 8:54 a.m. that someone threw rocks through the living room window of a residence on the 100 block of Jewell Street overnight.
Property Found: Keys were found in the road in front of The Sequel Used Book Store on the 1600 block of Railroad Street at 9:48 a.m. and turned in to police.
Theft: Police received a report at 11:37 a.m. that four rings were stolen from a home on the 200 block of Noble Fir Circle in the last two months.
Multiple items were reported stolen at 6:50 p.m. from a vehicle parked in the north lot of the Expo Center. The door was unlocked.
Burglary: Police received a report at 4:21 p.m. that a residence on the 300 block of Larsen Avenue was unlawfully entered through an unsecured window and that a gift basket was rifled through though nothing was taken.
Hit and Run: The right tail light of a vehicle was damaged after a hit and run occurred between 12 p.m. at 8 p.m. in the lot behind Sip City Wines on the 1500 block of Initial Avenue.

Lost Wallet: A wallet last scene at The Kitchen was reported missing at 10:36 a.m. It was a small, gray wallet with zipper, well-worn with a Key Bank credit card and Discover card, medical insurance cards and a Washington state license.
Inappropriate: Police received a report at 10:39 p.m. that someone had rearranged the letters on The Summit Church's sign and created an inappropriate message. The message was removed though the group was not located.
Monday, August 27
Property Damage: Police took a report at 6:42 a.m. of damage to a vehicle parked on the 300 block of Wynalda Drive.
The tires on a vehicle on the 1300 block of Semanski Street were slashed, causing $250 in damages; they were also slashed back in May.
Vehicle Prowl: Sunglasses valued at $1 were reported stolen at 9:11 a.m. in a vehicle prowl that occurred on the 3400 block of Winter Place.
Theft: A wallet in a purse belonging to a DART bus driver was reported stolen at 10:16 a.m.; police determined the theft happened outside the city.
Gas was siphoned from a vehicle parked on the 1000 block of Semanski Street overnight. It was valued at about $50.
Hit and Run: Police received a report of a hit and run in a parking lot on the 100 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 12:18 p.m. The suspect vehicle was later located and impounded.
Domestic Disturbance: Police responded to a verbal domestic incident at a home on the 2400 block of D Court at 4:12 p.m.
Speeders Beware: Extra patrol has been requested in the area of the 2700 block of S.E. 432nd Street for speeders, in particular a red motorcycle seen on the weekends.
