Utility Problems on Snowy March 13 Blotter

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Tuesday, March 13.

Utility Problem: Police received a report at 5:16 a.m. of a low hanging wire on Roosevelt Avenue at Florence Street blocking traffic. Police, fire and city crews responded and blocked off the road. Further snow flurries in the afternoon caused the line to snap. An officer tied it back as best he could at 2:02 p.m.

Police received a report at 7:14 a.m. of a cable line down partially blocking Lowell Avenue. Comcast was notified and the responding officer was able to get it out of the road.

A phone line was down across Roosevelt Avenue at 4:54 p.m. The responding officer coiled and placed it near a phone box on the side of the street.

Public Urination: Police contacted an inebriated man seen urinating on Porter Street at Battersby Avenue at 4:50 p.m. They asked him to cease.
