Woman Arrested for Assault, Neighbor Helps Nab Trespasser, and Two Honda Accords Stolen but One Later Recovered in Feb. 21 to Feb. 25 Blotter

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Thursday, Feb. 21 through Monday, Feb. 25.

Thursday, Feb. 21

Vehicle vs. Cow: Police received a report that a car vs. cow accident occurred on S.E. 440th Street and 272nd Avenue S.E. at 7;06 p.m. It was determined to be in King County Sheriff's Office jurisdiction.

Friday, Feb. 22

Vehicle Prowl: A citizen reported at 5:16 p.m. that someone entered their unlocked vehicle parked on the 100 block of Roosevelt Avenue and removed several items, including an iPhone.

Saturday, Feb. 23

Vigilant Neighbor: Police arrested a suspect for obstructing and first-degree criminal trespass after a neighbor reported seeing him jump over a fence at a residence on the 1400 block of Marion Street at 2:24 a.m. When officers responded they found the garage door open and the suspect in the basement.

Another Vigilant Neighbor: Police arrested a subject on a felony warrant and later found drug paraphernalia on them during booking after they received a report at 7:44 a.m. the person was stumbling down the roadway on Garfield Street at Kibler Avenue.

Property Damage: Police responded to a commercial building on the 800 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 8:05 a.m. and were providing extra patrol after it was discovered the roof was damaged when someone tried to break in to an unfinished part of the building.

Unsecured Mail: Police found mail on the road on Kibler Avenue at Highpoint Street at 8:18 a.m. and returned it to the owners.

Pitbull Found: A pitbull was found on the 900 block of Cole Street at 2:24 p.m. and turned over to King County Animal Control.

Hit and Run: Police received a report that a white Chevy pick up truck was seen striking a parked vehicle on the 1300 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 11:17 p.m. while it was occupied before leaving the scene. No one was injured.

Sunday, Feb. 24

Accident: Police responded to an accident on Wetherbee Lane and Garland Place at 12:46 a.m. for a report a vehicle swerved to avoid another vehicle that failed to yield at the intersection and hit the curb, resulting in a flat tire. The other vehicle was reportedly a white work van.

Domestic Violence: Police arrested a woman for fourth-degree domestic violence assault after responding to the 300 block of Chinook Avenue at 12:53 a.m. and verifying she struck someone.

Vehicle Stolen: Police received a report at 8:09 a.m. that a 1993 brown Honda Accord parked on the 400 block of Petersen Drive East was stolen overnight. The vehicle was later recovered on Monday, Feb. 25 at 6:33 a.m.

Another Vehicle Stolen: Police also received a report at 1:55 p.m. that a 1992 red Honda Accord on the 300 block of Chinook Avenue was stolen sometime after 11 p.m. the previous night.

Monday, Feb. 25

Women Escape: Police responded to a property on the 1000 block of Monroe Avenue at 2:48 a.m. on a report of suspicious people and tried to make contact before they fled the scene, setting off an alarm.

Hi, Susan and Lou. We do know that our events calendar has issues at the moment with incorrect timesRead More displaying, and our engineering team is at work to correct this. My best suggestion at the moment is to post a comment on an event with the correct time, if you aren't able to go in and edit an event that you previously posted. Our ownership has not changed -- we have been and continue to be a part of the AOL family. Our intent with the new design is to highlight the great content that our users create and share with the community. We know there have been some bumps with our launch and are working diligently to fix them. We hope you'll be patient with us and continue to share on Patch.

I agree the previous version was much better and I am not adjusting well to the new version at all.Read More Its definitely not a better layout. Also have had many problems with the events calendar which may not even be fixable.
