Woman Reports Attack by Four Men in Oct. 27 and Oct. 28 Blotter

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports for Saturday, Oct. 27 and Sunday, Oct. 28.

Saturday, Oct. 27

Domestic Violence: Police assisted King County Sheriff's Office and Enumclaw Fire with a physical domestic violence situation at a location on 284th Avenue S.E. at 12:16 a.m.

Residential Burglary: Police took a report at 11:12 a.m. of a residential burglary at a home on Ventura Avenue.

Property Damage: Police contacted the victim of malicious mischief to her vehicle parked in a lot on Griffin Avenue at 11:23 a.m.

Vehicle Stolen: Police took a report at 5:10 p.m. that a vehicle on Scandia Avenue was stolen overnight.

No Soliciting: Police responded to a report of unauthorized solicitors at a home on Spruce Drive at 6:36 p.m. They were LDS missionaries, which are not included in the city's solicitor law. The missionaries agreed to move along to avoid conflict.

Noise Complaints: Police received more than one call regarding excessively loud bass music from the Crystal Saloon at 10:04 p.m. and then at 11:09 p.m. The responding officer confirmed the noise was excessive and had management turn it down.

Assault: Police received a report at 11:25 p.m. of an assault that occurred three hours earlier in which a woman was attacked by four unknown men near the library on First Street. Both the victim and spouse had been drinking.

Sunday, Oct. 28

DUI: A man was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on Warner Avenue at State Route 410 at 2:36 a.m.

I agree the previous version was much better and I am not adjusting well to the new version at all.Read More Its definitely not a better layout. Also have had many problems with the events calendar which may not even be fixable.

Always looking for a local nature trail, I really enjoy reading Mary Janosik's well written blog. InRead More fact, almost all the dedicated bloggers posting on the Enumclaw PATCH have something worthwhile reading. But it is not an easy job for most of us, taking some time to research and write, without any compensation. Our only reward is knowing we are being read and appreciated and the only way we know that is when you comment. In my opinion, most of the PATCH blogs are a community service, informing residents about our community and issues concerning you, our readers. So please send your favorite bloggers a thank you or a comment once in awhile to keep us motivated and feel appreciated..
