Final results from Washington’s Aug. 7 primary were posted and certified Tuesday in King and Pierce counties. The Secretary of State has until Friday to certify results statewide.
As of Tuesday afternoon, final numbers in the 31st Legislative District were as follows:

- Position 1: Incumbent Rep. Cathy Dahlquist leads with 16,169 votes (63.96 percent) over challenger Brian Gunn with 9,112 votes (36.04 percent)
- Position 2: Incumbent Rep. Chris Hurst leads with 14,082 (56.83 percent) over challenger Lisa Connors with 10,699 votes (43.17 percent)
