City of Enumclaw Hosts Blood Drive Jan. 18 in Honor of Late Councilmember Mahelona

The drive takes place at City Hall though appointments will need to be scheduled through the city clerk's office.

The city of Enumclaw is hosting a blood drive in honor of Kevin Mahelona, who passed away in November after a battle with a rare form of pneumonia.

In his memory his family had asked that well-wishers donate blood to Puget Sound Blood Center, in lieu of sending flowers.

The city blood drive takes place Friday, Jan. 18 at City Hall. For more information or to schedule an appointment to donate, please contact City Clerk Meredith Shirey at 360-615-5608 or MShirey@ci.enumclaw.wa.us.
