The King County Primary Election is Tuesday Aug. 7. Don't forget to turn in your ballots and be counted!
Ballots are due to the county or need to be postmarked by Aug. 7. The nearest ballot drop box to Enumclaw is at the Tahoma School District Office in Maple Valley (25720 Maple Valley-Black Diamond Road SE). That drop box will be closed after 8 p.m. Tuesday. King County has an all mail-in ballot, though voters with disabilities may vote in person at several accessible voting centers (AVC) throughout the county. The closest to Enumclaw is at Green River Community College in the Lindbloom Student Center Glacier Room (12401 SE 320th St. in Auburn). Hours on Election day are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Accessible voting units offer lap paddles and sip-and-puff devices, as well as audio, and large and high-contrast text options. All voters may use the accessible voting centers, though identification and signature will be required to vote in person.
