Equestrians Invited to County Commission Meeting in Enumclaw

The King County Agriculture Commission will meet in Enumclaw on October 20 for a session focused on the equestrian industry.

Local equestrians and citizens with an interest in issues facing local horse owners will get a chance to speak with the King County Agriculture Commission in a meeting in Enumclaw October 20, a County press release said Wednesday.

The meeting includes a session on the equestrian industry as well as a report on agricultural drainange maintenance; citizens will then get to share their knowledge and insights with commissioners.

The King County Agriculture Commission consists of 15 members, all appointed by the County Executive, and currently includes local cattle ranch operator George Irwin.

The meeting takes place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Room 142 of the 100 Building at Enumclaw High School.
