Community Meeting on Mount Rainier National Park

Members of the community are invited to attend one of three upcoming community meetings to discuss this year's summer operations at Mount Rainier National Park and other topics of interest.

Superintendent Randy King and other staff will provide brief updates about park operations, projected open and closing dates, planning and construction projects, etc. Each meeting is expected to last approximately an hour and a half. These meetings will occur on the following dates, times and locations:

  • Monday, May 21, Packwood Community Center, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 22, Ashford Mountain Haus, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. (note: the Mountain Haus is located half way between Whittaker Mountaineering and Whittaker’s Bunkhouse. It is the building that houses the Visitor Information center).
  • Wednesday, May 23, Enumclaw Library, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
