Enumclaw Centennial Celebration Community Meeting

The city of Enumclaw turns 100 years old this upcoming  January 27, 2013.

A steering committee tasked with planning the community celebration has built a framework with three anchor events spaced throughout 2013:

  • January 27, 2013: Open House and Exhibits at the Expo Center in the afternoon followed by an evening event.
  • July 4, 2013: Annual Stars and Stripes event with a centennial focus
  • November 27, 2013: Culminating event connected to the annual Thanksgiving ecumenical service

On Tuesday, July 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school library, Mayor Liz Reynolds and members of that committee will share this draft framework with interested community members in hopes many who attend would be interested in helping to provide feedback about the framework and to join a committee for one of the anchor events.
