Many were against plan two years ago during public hearing.

It’s been almost two years since there was a public hearing on the 268th Street Annexation in Enumclaw.

Tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the library there will be an open house on the annexation. Elected officials and city representatives will explain how the proposed annexation would affect property and changes in service.

But here are some of the comments made by residents of the annexation at that Nov. 22, 2010, hearing, according to the city minutes:

Jason Koehn, 42830 268th Ave. S.E., stated  he was against annexation because  he did not want the city to require residents to replace septic systems with sewer hook-ups.
