Fall is officially here, and that means the general election on Nov. 6 is right around the corner.
Along with the presidential election, several state seats are up for grabs this year. Enumclaw area voters will be choosing representation in the 31st state legislative district as well as the 5th district which comes pretty close to Enumclaw city limits from the north. Voters will also choose their Congressional representative for the 8th District.
Statewide, voters will also select a new governor, and decide the fate of controversial initiatives on gay marriage and marijuana.
Enumclaw Patch will not be endorsing candidates in this election, but we welcome readers to share their thoughts and opinions in the form of comments, blog posts and letters to the editor.
