The Black Diamond Elementary Parent Teacher Association is hosting its 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday, November 20 and all are invited!
Organizer Tina McGann said traditional foods including turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, rolls and dessert will be among the many offerings.
There will be a kids crafts table and the local cub scouts and girls scouts will also be on hand to help. Local kids and grown-ups alike will be providing entertainment. And organizers welcome any additional volunteers and musical talent to share their time and talents with diners, particularly high school students who may be looking for community service credits, McGann said.
If you are interested in helping out or just want more information, contact McGann at 360-886-8268 or tinamcgann@live.com
"It is a great event to bring our communities together while enjoying a fabulous meal!" McGann told Patch.
Again, the meal is free and open to all. The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 20 at the Black Diamond Elementary School gym.
