When the Enumclaw High School Drama Department wants to raise money, it would seem ridiculous to think they'd go with a bake sale or auction. After all, the young thespians are at their best on the stage, which is why this weekend, they will be presenting four shows of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple for your viewing pleasure.
This is the classic tale of mismatched roommates who are forced to share an apartment with hilarious and disastrous results, according to drama teacher Darrell Miller.
The shows include two that are of Simon's reworked female version featuring Olive and Florence rather than Oscar and Felix, and in fact, it will be the girls on first for opening night tonight at Enumclaw High School.

This is the third year the department is doing a summer alumni show, said Miller. All proceeds go to supporting the Enumclaw High School Drama Department. "It's better than an annual car wash, I think!" he said.
Did you count only 13 in that list too? So did we. When we asked Miller about the missing two, he said, "the rest of the cast is rounded out by secret guest stars."
