Enumclaw Rotary February Students of the Month

The Rotary Club recognized two seniors from Enumclaw High School and White River High School at its February meeting.

The Enumclaw Rotary Club recognized the following students as Students of The Month at their February 17, 2011 meeting, according to Rotary member Diane Anderson.

Kelly Sweeney, daughter of Kim and Dave Sweeney of Enumclaw, was the recipient from Enumclaw High School. A 3.87 student who has taken seven Advanced Placement classes, Kelly is a member of the National Honor Society. She also participates on the varsity golf team (captain), is co-editor of the school newspaper, president of Key Club and in the orchestra. Kelly plans to attend a four-year university next fall and work towards a Physical Therapist degree.

Analise McKay, daughter of Adrienne McKay and Brandon Fjellman of Bonney Lake, was the recipient from White River High School. A strong academic student and member of National Honor Society, Analise has a 3.98 GPA. She participates on the varsity cross country team, is president of the Interact club and volunteers with Plateau Outreach Ministries. Analise plans to attend the University of Washington this fall to obtain her bachelors and masters degree in Accounting.
