Enumclaw Superintendent Takes Helm of State Group

Superintendent Mike Nelson is now president of the Washington Association of School Administrators.

Enumclaw School District Superintendent Mike Nelson was installed this week as president of the Washington Association of School Administrators.
Nelson, who has been superintendent since 2007, took over the state leadership position Monday at a luncheon during the summer conference in Spokane, according to the district.
Nelson has been an active member of WASA and has served in a variety of association positions, including serving as WASA’s Region 110 president in 2011–12.
