Wildland Firefighter Training Meeting

The South Puget Regional Handteam (SPRH) is looking for people interested in becoming Wildland Firefighters. The SPRH is a specialized team and part of King County Fire District #44. The team responds to brush fires and wild fires in parts of South King County. Members of the team may also deploy to larger fires outside of the area.

The meeting will discuss requirements and training schedule for 2012 for people 18 or over interested in joining the team.

Wildland firefighting is hard physical work that is outside in all types of terrain and weather during the day or night.
