THIS CAMPAIGN:

What is the primary reason you are running for this office?

I wish to continue participating as a contributing member on the team of board members along with Superintendent Mike Nelson, in the evolving work and improvements in the Enumclaw School District.

What will be your top three priorities if you get elected and why?

1) Advocating for children - always asking, "Is this the best solution for children?" both locally, and at the state level;  2) Promoting stronger community and school communications by remaining active in many community organizations and being available to share district information through such networking; 3) Staying abreast of education reform issues, challenges on best practices that may either impact Enumclaw or from which we may benefit.

What sets you apart from the other candidates and/or previous office holders?

I am very grateful not to have an opponent for this election.  I hope that means my previous 20 years of service are valued as an asset to this board.

How much money do you expect your campaign to spend on this election?

None.
