Rotary Names November Students of the Month

The Enumclaw Rotary Club recognized Jessica Snoen, Johnna Coughlin and Genea Smokey as Students of The Month at their November 15, 2012 meeting.

The Enumclaw Rotary Club recognized the following students as Students of The Month at their November 15, 2012 meeting.

Jessica Snoen, daughter of David and Michelle Snoen of Enumclaw, was the recipient from Enumclaw High School. A strong academic student taking numerous advanced placement classes, Jessica has a 3.87 cumulative GPA. She also serves as the senior class president and participates on both the high school soccer and basketball teams. Jessica plans to attend a four-year university next fall with plans on majoring in elementary education with a special education emphasis.

Johnna Coughlin, daughter of Denny and Mary Coughlin of Buckley, was the recipient from White River High School. Johnna has taken advanced placement classes and has a 3.93 cumulative GPA. While in high school she has participated in the leadership class as the senior class president in addition to the high school soccer and track teams. Johnna plans to attend a four-year school next year to work towards a degree in pre-med with the hopes of becoming a pediatric psychiatrist.

Genea Smokey, daughter of Adriane Lien of Sumner, was the recipient from Collins High School. Genea will graduate from Colllins High School in March of 2013. Genea plans to start college next fall at Tacoma Community College to begin working towards a degree in architecture with the hopes of developing housing for at risk families.
