School Supplies Needed in Black Diamond

As schools prepare to get back in session for the fall, your help is needed.

The Black Diamond Community Center is now collecting school supplies for its Running Start program to help out low-income families in the greater Black Diamond area. 

Items needed include: backpacks, three-ring binders, calculators, Fiskar scissors, loose-leaf paper, ball-point pens, markers, and colored pencils. 

If you would like to donate, call 360-886-1011 or visit the Community Center at 31605 Third Ave (SR 169) in Black Diamond.

If you are in need of supplies, applications are now available. Bring a copy of your medical coupons or free or reduced lunch certificate to qualify. Applications are due by Monday, August 20.  School supplies will be distributed at the Black Diamond Community Center on Wednesday, August 22nd, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
