The Palouse-bound senior has left a long lasting legacy on Enumclaw High School in every way imaginable.

Name: Sarah Lurry

School/Organization: Senior, Enumclaw High School, 4.0 GPA, National Honor Society Member.

Sarah has been involved in everything between school and being a part of her community in Enumclaw. Sarah is heavily involved in . Sheserved on a mission trip to Montana last summer. This summer she is set for a mission trip to San Francisco through her church. Also, Sarah was recently hired as a staff member for the National Cheerleader Association (NCA) as, this summer, she will be teaching the campers instead of being a camper herself [for the past three years]. Sarah was also part of the cheerleading squad that in the state this year for Enumclaw. In her spare time for fun, Sarah likes snowboarding up at Crystal Mountain in the winter, wakeboarding during the summer time, and she also enjoys reading and spending time with her friends and family.

Future Goals: Sarah is bound for the Palouse in the fall of 2011 after graduation to either Washington State University or the University of Idaho. She hopes to either become  a physical therapist or enter a nursing program. On the athletic side, Sarah hopes to try out for her college cheerleading squad and participate in intramural gymnastics.

Biggest Accomplishment: "Being able to experience so many things as an Enumclaw Hornet! These past four years have gone by so fast, but I'm proud to say I'm a Hornet." Sarah has been going non-stop since entering Enumclaw High School four years ago. Sarah has done everything from running track during her freshman and sophomore years, to cheering at football, basketball, volleyball and wrestling matches. In her senior year, Sarah was of the first Enumclaw High School gymnastics team that . Sarah also had the honor of being on the Enumclaw High School Homecoming Court as well. "I have memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life; it has been so much fun."

Key to Awesomeness: "Never give up on your goals, and stay involved. There are so many great opportunities out there, so don't be afraid to take a chance on something new. Also,  when you find something you love, set goals for yourself and never ever give up. If you work hard and always remember to have fun, you will be successful in whatever you do."
