Reflections on the Udub-Duck Rivalry

Ah yes , one of my favorite weeks of the year the annual matchup for the University of Washington football team against that so-called school in Eugene in down in Autzen Stadium. As a former student manager for the Husky football program from 1997-2001, I have had my share of adventurous go-arounds down at Autzen from field level from two unfortunate losses in 1998 and especially 2000 where that game cost us a national championship game appearance. Anyhow, my memories of Autzen are pretty simple actually in regard to that school in Eugene's fanbase. I will never forget having to duck dog biscuits being hurled towrads the sideline and dog excerement being thrown at fans and toward the field as well.  In addition, with the way let their fans down on the field it was always fun to hear the little kids swear at us when we would be taking our stuff back to the locker room and the parents of the kids would set back do nothing. In regard to the streak that their fanbase seems to continually want credit for. I am not going to give credit for doing your job of winning with better personnel and having the majority of games in the streak. That is called taking care of business like you are supposed  to do. So to that so-called school in Eugene appreciate what you have right now until the NCAA takes care of you guys for the Willie Lyles scandal and if you win Saturday trying winning with actual dignity, and class is approriate of the number two in the country. For Washington, please for the love of the god do everything possible to try and beat that so-called school in Eugene.
