C&C Fitness Studio's Zumba Joins City of Enumclaw Group Class Offerings this Winter

Zumba, Bootcamp, Pilates and Seniors Forever Young and Fit are being offered through the Parks and Recreation Department.

Michelle Larson, recreation manager for the city of Enumclaw, alerted us to the fact the city's Parks and Recreation Department are aiming to help fill the void of group fitness classes left since the closure of Enumclaw Fitness Center.

Pilates and Seniors Forever Young and Fit are being taught by instructor Stephanie Sackett-Converse through November 30. Cost of classes are $65 per session.

Boot Camps classes continue through Nov. 21 and are being taught by instructor Jaclyn VanHoof. Drop-in rates are $10 per session.

Zumba comes to Enumclaw through C&C Fitness Studio in Sumner. Instructor Corinne Goedecke said the studio is hosting an 'open house' Zumba class on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 6 p.m. in the Field House. The intro event is free to all Enumclaw residents who bring in two non-perishable food items to donate to local food banks. A full class schedule will begin in December, she said.

For all three classes, see flyers attached.

For more information and Winter/Spring Class dates, call the Parks & Recreation Department at 360-825-3594.

Always looking for a local nature trail, I really enjoy reading Mary Janosik's well written blog. InRead More fact, almost all the dedicated bloggers posting on the Enumclaw PATCH have something worthwhile reading. But it is not an easy job for most of us, taking some time to research and write, without any compensation. Our only reward is knowing we are being read and appreciated and the only way we know that is when you comment. In my opinion, most of the PATCH blogs are a community service, informing residents about our community and issues concerning you, our readers. So please send your favorite bloggers a thank you or a comment once in awhile to keep us motivated and feel appreciated..
