Walk for the Babies 5K

 ,   Add to calendar
4432 35th Ave SW Seattle WA 98126  See map

Walk for the Babies is a 5K walk to raise $100,000, or more, for the Pediatric Interim Care Center (PICC - http://www.picc.net).  The PICC provides immediate, short-term medical care between hospital and home for medically fragile infants suffering from prenatal drug exposure.  This creates a tremendous cost savings to the taxpayers of Washington State.  PICC also provides parenting, educational and support services to the effected community.

Two great video about the facility can be found here:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1U8YFLb7CA and here http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=LrU3xvpR0lo
PICC has recently lost $400,000 in funding and I want to do what I can to keep this amazing facility in our community.  No donation is too small, but larger contributions will help me reach my goal faster.

Please make a tax-deductible donation by visiting our FirstGiving page:http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/phoebi/walkforthebabies
You can donate online with a credit card.  All donations are secure and sent directly to Pediatric Interim Care Center, Inc. by FirstGiving, who will email you a printable record of your donation.  If you would rather send in a check or money order, please make it out to P.I.C.C. and send to Phoebi Crawford, 7908 29th Ave SW, Seattle, WA  98126 or you can give me cash or check directly.

Thanks you for making a difference in the world and helping those most in need.
