What’s at stake: Both teams are guaranteed a spot in the sub-district tournament but finished the season with identical league records, necessitating a tie-breaker game to determine which school gets the three-seed heading into the playoffs. Regardless of the outcome, both teams will have a chance to qualify for the West-Central District playoffs (which determines what teams qualify for the state tournament), but the three-seed will have the more favorable match-up. The three-seed is guaranteed to play a team that had to play in Bremerton the night before.
Season head-to-head: The two teams split their season series in remarkably close fashion. Auburn Mountainview took the first contest with one-point overtime victory, but Enumclaw got even last week with 59-57 win.
