Mom Aims to Bring Kasey Kahne Back for Signing Next Year

Tammy Kahne, who this week opened the Kasey Kahne Store in downtown Enumclaw, said she hopes to have her busy son come back for a store signing in the first half of next year.

It may have seemed quiet from the outside but Tammy Kahne has had a busy week this week with the opening of the new Kasey Kahne Store at 1325 Cole Street.

"We were so busy opening day," Kahne said, though she hadn't done much publicizing and credited the heavy foot traffic to community word of mouth.

Patch stopped by Thursday afternoon to chat with Kahne about the new store. Its guest book gives a good indication of how many of her son's fans have stopped by already - it just opened Wednesday.

From apparel to memorabilia to model racecars and more, fans of Kasey Kahne can find an assorted selection of items commemorating their hero.

We were most curious when Kasey himself might stop by. Mom, who splits her time now between Washington state and North Carolina, said she's working on it.

Look for an announcement about a signing to come in the first half of 2013, she said, likely coinciding with a racing competition on the West Coast.
