Take part in what has become a summer tradition in Enumclaw and save up to $15 by registering for the July 21 event now.

Editor's Note: The following is a press release issued by the Enumclaw Street Fair committee.

A local summer fun tradition for its fourth year, the annual 5K run/walk presented by the Enumclaw Rotary during the Enumclaw Street Fair will be held on Saturday, July 21.

The course will cover a 3.1-mile course that begins and ends at the corner of Railroad Street and Myrtle Avenue, adjacent to the Enumclaw library. The race will begin at 9AM. Participants will travel north on Railroad, turn right on Battersby Ave., proceed to Ellenson Park and then loop back into downtown.

Registration forms can be found at www.enumclawstreetfair.com.

Early registration ends July 1; prices are $20 for adults and $15 for those 12 and younger. A family pass, good for two adults and one child, is $50. After the early registration date the cost until July 15 increases to $30 for adults and $20 for those 12 and younger and the family pass increases to $65. Registration also will be taken the morning of the event at 7:30AM. Participants will receive a T-shirt at check-in and prizes will be awarded to those with the fastest times in each gender and age category.

Added this year is a kids 1-mile fun run and will start at 8:45 am. Early registration cost is $8 until July 1 and after that will be $12. It will start and end at the corner of Railroad and Myrtle St. as well.
