Your Photos: 2012 King County Fair

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the event.

Before the weather got too hot this weekend (a high of 88 degress is expected Saturday), we checked out the first day of the King County Fair on Thursday and enjoyed the mellow evening with limited crowds, live music and a setting sun in the western horizon.

Battle of the Bands was underway and we caught a few performances before strolling among the 4-H horse and rabbit shows and watching others delight in the carnival rides.

Here's a sampling of what we saw Thursday. If you've got great shows of your favorite band or your little one delighting in an especially fun ride, we'd love to see them. Upload them to this gallery and share them with fellow Patch readers!
