Dr. Mary Ballard’s first novel Revealed published on July 2012 has received two accolades bringing her dreams closer of making her action-packed mystery into a film production or TV series.

The plot, based on Dr. Ballard’s knowledge of the medical field and research about life in a logging community, has a different twist than most medical TV dramas. Threatened by a vicious stalker pursuing her, burnt out and frightened, big city Emergency Room physician Dr. Samantha Nolan is secretly sent off to a remote Alaskan logging community where her services are badly needed. There she should feel safe with her whereabouts unknown and in this new environment she becomes attracted to a bright and handsome logger, Skye Ronan, but her new found feelings are suddenly threatened by enclosing danger. Fighting for survival, she learns of the bizarre connection forever binding her to her stalker.
