Enumclaw Businesses open late on Thursday Nights

Hey everyone Downtown Enumclaw is keeping its shops open late the first four Thursdays of December.  Bundle up and Take advantage of these Thursday nights by bringing your family downtown to see the store decorations, drink a hot cider and make your Christmas list.  Did you know that over 22 stores in town are new or have changed locations? You might be pleasantly surprised by the youthful items at Hil’s Clothing, the facelift at Oh Baby, or the quality of consignment at The Platinum Hanger, plus Crooked Fence Gifts has moved to Cole Street and right across the street you can run the train at Young’s Flowers and gifts.

Are you up for a mystery? Take your 5 year son on an adventure by parking in the lot next to Collectibles on Cole, walk across Cole street to the ally, go down a couple of doors and knock on Aaron Brenner’s new entrance to his Bakery and have your son tell Aaron how many loaves of fresh baked bread you want! How fun is that!

This is the season where “Hometown” really comes alive. Even though I have been in business over 40 years, I still get that magical feeling when I walk downtown during the Holiday Season. Especially in a time when so many negative things try to flood our minds, this season seems to bring out the giving spirit in people, offering hope for our future.  What could be better than the girls getting their hair done at Downtown Hair Design, while next door, Dad thumbs through the books at The Sequel sipping on an espresso, and then around the corner having a great dinner at The Rendezvous?
