<p>St. Elizabeth Hospital opened its doors to patient car on Feb. 2, 2011 as the newest addition to the Franciscan Health System. It replaces the older Enumclaw Regional Hospital across the street, which is set to be razed in order to make room for a new parking structure.</p>
<p>Key services include:</p> <ul> <li>24-hour emergency department with a rooftop helipad for medical transport helicopters</li> <li>Private patient rooms</li> <li>Critial care unit</li> <li>Diagnostic imaging (including computed tomography [CT] scans, magnetic resonance imaging [MRI], digital mamography, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, X-rays)</li> <li>Modern operating rooms for inpatient and outpatient surgeries</li> <li>Endoscopy (gastrointestinal) services</li> <li>Birth center with private labor-delivery rooms and mother-baby suites</li> <li>Cardiopulmonary care</li> <li>Physical therapy</li> <li>Inpatient and Outpatient laboratory services</li> </ul> <p>St. Elizabeth is a critical access hospital in the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) program for hospitals that serve rural areas. </p>
