Operated by Washington State Parks, Nolte State Park is roughly seven miles outside of Enumclaw's city center along the Veazie Cumberland Road. The focal point of the 117-acre park is Deep Lake, which is surrounded by more than 7,000 feet of freshwater shoreline.

The largely forested park is day-use only, complete with both sheltered and unsheltered picnic tables and two kitchen shelters. Non-motorized boating, fishing, and swimming are permitted at the park, and a one-mile walking path traces the perimeter of the lake.

The park is closed for the winter between October 1 and April 1.
