Mr. Kerr was a great fellow. When I was raising my kids 30 years ago, I once asked him why he kept…Read More prices lower than any other theater around. He said he wanted kids to be able to afford to see a movie. That stayed with me all these years. I'm sad to hear that he has passed. He was a nice part of Enumclaw.

Countless memories at that great theater... all of which started with Ken tearing the ticket. I…Read More remember standing in line to see the re-released Star Wars films, puking in the bathroom during Harry Potter because I ate too many Apple-O's (I still can't eat those things), sitting front row during The Sixth Sense with my eyes closed, and getting to see my own short films play to a packed house. Thank you Ken for making it all happen, for lighting up that silver screen.

I'm Kevin, Kevin's son-in-law (lovingly dubbed J.R. by Kevin's mother). I didn't really know the…Read More "councilman Kevin" or "Eddie Bauer Kevin", but I knew the "Papa, Kevin Sr, and Dad" side of Kevin. He lived for his family and it showed. He was so happy being 'Papa' to his grandkids, a side of him I wish everyone could've seen. He was always there for birthdays, concerts, sporting events but best of all, just spending time together at his home. He was an amazing example of service to his family, always willing to put on the tool belt and help out on every home improvement project I ever had and he always knew what to do. I got to see him on a number of occasions in Hawaii with his loving mother, who is really the only Grandma I have ever known. It was great to see him swimming in the Hawaiian waters with his grandkids, then catching some waves with his sons on the body boards. Now that I have a daughter of my own, I can follow his example. I'm grateful for knowing him and that the Lord allowed him time to say good bye to his loving family. May we live our lives that when it's our time to go, there will be no regrets. That is the Kevin I knew and will miss. Aloha Oe
