Young Life seeks to…More earn the right to be heard in teens' lives through building bridges of friendship with its adult community mentors.</p> <p>The Rainier Hills Young Life group serves about 400 teens locally and regionally through the work and mentorship of about 40 adult volunteers. The group covers the Plateau area, including Black Diamond, Greenwater, parts of Bonney Lake and all middle and high schools in the Enumclaw and White River school districts.</p> <p>Highlights of Young Life's outreach efforts include its popular summer camps with locations in Eastern Oregon and in British Columbia. Teens are able to help cover expenses through scholarship and ample fundraising opportunities.</p> <p>Young Life also has specific ministries to serve younger, middle-school-aged children as well as teen moms.</p> <p>There are 56 Young Life organizations throughout Washington state. The Rainier Hills chapter of Young Life just celebrated its 30th anniversary serving the Plateau area. Young Life was founded in 1941 and is now found across the U.S. and in more than 70 countries worldwide.</p>
