As the newest Enumclaw School District school which opened in 2000, Thunder Mountain receives students from Black Diamond, Westwood, and Kibler elementary schools as well as those who live north of 432nd Street. </p> <p>Thunder Mountain offers a variety of athletic and after school programs in an effort to encourage students to connect with the school community outside of main core academics. Parents, likewise, are encouraged to participate in the PTSO to stay involved with the school.</p>

They must live within the district boundaries in which they serve. The board meets one Monday each month. All board meetings take place at 6:30pm at the district office, 2929 McDougall Ave., Enumclaw, WA, unless <a href="http://www.enumclaw.wednet.edu/board/meetingdates.aspx">otherwise noted</a>. Additional board workshops are also noted on the meeting calendar. By default, no actions are taken at workshops unless indicated on the calendar.</p> <p>Offices of the Superintendent, for curriculum, assessment, staff development, student support services, as well as technology, human resources and the business office are located at the School District Office.</p> <p>The <a href="http://www.enumclawschoolsfoundation.org/index.cfm">Enumclaw Schools Foundation (ESF)</a> was founded in 2004 by community advocates and district staff to enhance and support academic and extracurricular programs in the Enumclaw School District. </p>
