Enumclaw/King County Fire District 28
1330 Wells St, Enumclaw, WA 98022

The Enumclaw Fire Department serves the city of Enumclaw and 89 square miles of unincorporated King CountyMore surrounding the city.

Voters in November 2010 approved the annexation of the Enumclaw Fire Department into King County Fire District 28, meaning that management of the department has now transferred exclusively to the Fire District whereas prior to the election, both the city of Enumclaw and the Fire District managed the Department.

Logistically, staffing remains the same and residents should not experience any difference in service.

The Department has roughly 45 volunteer firefighters, nine of which are professional firefighters and three of whom are captains.

In addition to the station's headquarters on Wells Street, the District also oversees Station 2 located at 35421 Veazie-Cumberland Road in Cumberland and Station 3 at 43404 212th Ave SE in Enumclaw.
