Come learn about goats, chickens, horses, haying and a plethora of other small-farm related endeavors. As a recent graduate of WSU’s Cultivating Success program, we will share our experiences with creating a small farm business of selling goat meat—triumphs, challenges, resources and networking opportunities that have contributed to cultivating success in a small farm operation. Specific management practices include on-farm composting for animal waste, rain gardens for drainage issues, invasive species control, and pasture management. Learn about networking in the Enumclaw area with the Enumclaw Sustainable Farmers’ Network group.
