Home of the Week Specials

Usually home of the week features one specific residence but this week there are three fabulous homes to choose from. I like to call this the trifecta special because they are all winners.

This week there are not one, not two, but three homes that caught my eye and deserve some attention. All are rambler-style houses that have been on the market for three to 23 days. Each is unique and, as usual, are great buys for that perfect someone or family.

House No. 1 is a cutie located at 1115 Isbell Court. It is a three-bedroom, one-and-three-quarter-bath home with a two-car garage on an oversize lot. It is bank-owned and listed by Windermere Puyallup agent Dana Grant for a steal of steal price of $164,900 which is $56,000 less than the 2010 assessed value.

It has walk-in closets and master bath, gas heat and is located on the highly coveted and hard to find cul-de-sac which is a safer place for children to play and still be seen from the house.

The second home on the list is quite randy and suitably named as it can be found at 435 Randall Place. It is a little more than 1,200 square feet, has two bedrooms and two full baths. It is HUD-owned and listed by Prudential NW Realty agent Calvin Gligorea for a mere $170,000. The 2010 assessed value is $218,000 which is an incredible $48,000 more than the asking price.

Although the home has just two bedrooms, they are good-sized. It is in fair condition and could use a good scrubbing and minor cosmetics, but it's move-in ready. The energy source is gas for efficiency and one of the best features is the fenced yard on almost a quarter-acre lot. Again, great for active children, a dog or two and some fun entertainment.

Last, but definitely not least, is the cream of the crop and aptly named for the size of the lot at 2.77 acres. This home features four beds and two-and-a-half baths and is a sprawling 3,500 square feet. It is also a bank-owned home, listed by Prudential NW Realty Associate’s agent Sandi Kleist. The asking price of this mini-mansion is $499,950.

There really are too many fantastic features to list but a few that deserve attention are the fabulous spindled staircase, French doors and a gourmet-style kitchen with a slab granite island. This home is built for entertaining with a wet bar, bonus room and a covered deck. Rooms are spacious and there is an ample amount of storage. The master suite is a literally a house in itself with walk-in closets, five-piece master bath and a sitting area with an incredible library. There is also a three-car garage for all the toys and much so much more.

So there we have it: three great homes for any kind of buyer. There is no real win, place or show in this lineup as each one is a winner for across the board — sort of a blanket finish. In essence, these prize-winning breeds are just waiting for the right jockey with all odds in their favor.
